HOW TO ADD A YOUTUBE VIDEO IN MICROSOFT POWERPOINT 2010

This article will teach you how to insert a YouTube video inside your Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 presentation.

1. First find the YouTube video that you want to insert in your PowerPoint presentation and click on the Share button that is under the video and after it click on the Embed button that will appear once you have clicked the Share button.

Note: After you have gone through the first step you have to select or deselect some of the options that are set as default below the video.

2. Now select the last option, Use old embed code, because that is the current code that works with Microsoft PowerPoint 2010.

Note: Choosing the size of the video is not that important at this point and plus you can also change it once you have inserted the video in your PowerPoint 2010 presentation.

3. Now select and copy the embed code that is above this listed options.

4. Now once you have done the previous step, go back to your PowerPoint 2010 presentation and go the slide where the video is going to be inserted. Click on the Insert tab from the navigation menu.

4.1. Then click on the Video button and select the Video from Web Site option.

4.2. Then paste the previously copied embed code on the window that will appear and click the Insert button.

Note: Now the video screen will appear on your slide and you can resize it or format it anyway you see fit in order your presentation to like nicer.

Note: Once you are in a slideshow mode, you sometimes might have to click on the screen once again so it will appear and you can play it now straight from the PowerPoint.
