WHICH WEB BROWSER IS MOST SECURE

I bet that at least once in your life you have had doubts about which browser is most secure. Although there are different opinion about this issue I will try to give you some facts and statistic data about it.

Every now and then we hear about hackers’ attacks and taking advantage of somebody else’s personal information and we wonder how such thing is possible. The real reason behind this is the vulnerability in the users’ web browsers. There are many browsers available, such as Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but the real question is: which web browser is most secure in terms of viruses, hackers and malware?

In order to attract more users many browsers are paying more attention to their security, but popularity and security do not necessarily come together.

A study carried out in July, 2011 by Accuvant (the Authoritative Source for information security delivering alignment between IT security and business objectives) found that Chrome (the second most popular browser) ranks as the most secure web browser in comparison to Internet Explorer (the most popular) and Firefox.
